Privacy Policy
Version 1.0 · Effective July 25, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how USER-SEC, LLC (“Meteora IQ”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Meteora IQ service (the “Service”). The Service is intended for users located in the United States. By using the Service, you agree to this Policy.
1. Information We Collect
Account and profile information. When you register and set up your account, we collect information such as your name, email address, and business profile details you provide — including your company name, address, phone number, professional license number, and report branding (such as a logo or report title). These appear on the reports you generate.
Billing information. Subscription payments are processed by our payment processor, Stripe. We do not receive or store your full payment card number. We store limited billing identifiers and status information — such as a customer identifier, subscription identifier, plan, subscription status, and renewal date — that we need to manage your subscription.
Project and content data. When you use the Service, we collect and store the content you upload or create, which may include property addresses, site plans and floor plans, uploaded documents and images, elevation readings and measurements, project metadata such as inspection dates, and the maps and reports the Service generates.
Device and technical information. To operate the Service and enforce per-user access, we collect a device identifier (a device “fingerprint”), a device label describing your browser and operating system, and the time your device was last seen, along with standard log and usage data.
Cookies and local storage. We use cookies and browser local storage for essential purposes such as keeping you signed in and remembering preferences like your light or dark theme.
2. How We Use Information
- to provide, operate, maintain, and secure the Service and your account;
- to perform the calculations, transpositions, contour generation, and document analysis that the Service provides, including optical character recognition and other automated processing;
- to process subscriptions, billing, and renewals;
- to enforce per-user seats and device limits and to detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents;
- to provide customer support and respond to your requests;
- to comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.
3. Automated Processing and AI
Some features of the Service use automated processing, including optical character recognition and other machine-generated analysis performed with the help of Google Cloud Vision. Your uploaded content is processed only to provide these features to you. We do not use your uploaded content, project data, or reports to train or improve artificial-intelligence models, and we treat that content as confidential.
4. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as described here:
- Service providers (sub-processors) that help us run the Service, including Stripe for payment processing, Google Cloud Vision for optical character recognition and image analysis, and our cloud hosting and infrastructure provider for storage and delivery. These providers are permitted to use the information only to perform services for us.
- Legal and safety purposes, when we believe disclosure is required by law or legal process, or necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Meteora IQ, our users, or others.
- Business transfers, in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.
5. Third-Party (Property Owner) Information
The Service allows our customers to upload plans and data that may relate to third parties, such as property owners. Where you upload such information, you act as the party responsible for it, and we process it on your behalf to provide the Service. You are responsible for having the right to submit that information and for providing any notices to, and obtaining any consents from, the individuals concerned.
6. Data Retention
We retain your account and content while your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. If a payment fails or you cancel, your account is locked and a thirty (30) day retention period begins on the date of the first failure or cancellation. During those 30 days your projects, files, reports, and settings remain intact, and restoring payment — by updating your payment method or resubscribing — immediately restores full access.
If payment is not restored within 30 days, your project data (projects, uploaded files, generated reports, and report templates) is permanently and irreversibly deleted. Your account itself is not deleted, and you may resubscribe and start fresh. We may retain limited information as required to comply with law, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements, and routine backups are deleted on a rolling basis. See the Data Retention Policy for details. You may also request deletion of your information at any time as described below.
7. Data Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect your information, including encryption of data in transit and access controls that isolate each customer’s data. A limited number of authorized personnel may access data to operate and support the Service. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your Choices and Rights
You can review and update your profile information in the Service’s settings, manage or cancel your subscription through the billing portal, and request access to or deletion of your information by contacting us at info@launchboxapps.io. We will respond consistent with applicable law.
9. California Privacy Rights
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended, provides you with certain rights regarding your personal information.
Categories we collect. In the past twelve months we have collected the categories described in Section 1, which may include identifiers (such as name and email), commercial information (such as subscription records), professional information (such as company and license details), internet or network activity and device information, and the content and project data you provide.
Your rights. Subject to the law’s exceptions, you have the right to:
- know and access the personal information we have collected about you;
- request deletion of your personal information;
- request correction of inaccurate personal information;
- opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information — note that we do not sell or share your personal information as those terms are defined; and
- not be discriminated against for exercising your rights.
To exercise these rights, contact us at info@launchboxapps.io. We will verify your request as required by law, and you may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf.
10. Children’s Privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
11. United States Users
The Service is intended for users in the United States, and information is processed in the United States. The Service is not directed to individuals in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom. If you access the Service from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be processed in the United States.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the version and effective date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after an update constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
13. Contact
